Their gloves are off. They are fighting bare knuckles. Daggers drawn. You can read their newspaper, the bile, the acerbic, vitriolic verbiage against one man whose only offence is that he chose to run for presidency. But l thought they knew only God gives power. If they knew, they wouldn’t go this way. Their man does not need these irreverent attacks if God says he would be president. So, why these pugnacious, malicious and malevolent diatribes? Why destroying relationships with falsehood while fighting another man’s battle, particularly for a man that is not fighting you?

Saul did all he could to kill David but David kept running from him. He went to hide in the cave of Adullam-See 1 Samuel 22. Even when Saul became vulnerable and David had an opportunity to kill his evil pursuer, he spared Saul, saying he won’t lay his hands on God’s anointed. But Saul was unrelenting. Look at how he ended. So, it is dangerous to fight the person who is not fighting you; who would eventually have your back.
David was already anointed a King before Saul even brought him to the palace. Does that mean Saul made David? It is God who enthrones. The Butler who introduced Joseph to the king could have said he made Joseph prime minister because he told the king that Joseph would solve his dream problem. God would of necessity use a human vessel to actualise His plan for someone. We should therefore be careful not to play God.
Some people are not seeing through the spiritual lenses what is going on. The Bible said an evil spirit took control of Saul. He could no longer reason rationally again in his pursuit of David. We all know how it ended.

In 1976, General Obasanjo swore-in Col. Buhari as Petroleum Commissioner (as federal ministers were called then). The same Buhari contested for president against against Obasanjo two times and the world did not end. We should not play God in the lives of people. Today, there are people who passed through me, who l even employed over 30 years ago doing very well. It’s my pride. That is how it should be.
There is life after May 31. Life goes on. Me, I’m just catching cruise. Reason you see me lace my posts with humour. What God will do, He would do. I won’t make enemies or insult people because of politics.
Despite me not attacking anybody, my name keeps featuring regularly in their meetings. They feel uncomfortable with my posts -posts that are not attacking anybody o. In the last two weeks, three different friendly sources have called me and asked me to take my security more seriously as my name keeps featuring in their discussions, up to the top echelon. And l say, upon wetin nah? On top all these things l post to market my man?
While I’m not bothered about such threats, it is only natural not to be careless with my security. But nothing dey Shelle. I’m not a bit afraid. Me that survived Babangida and Abacha. Me that was the first to raise the red flag in respect of Obasanjo’s Third term agenda; me that put my head on the chopping block to save Fashola from removal as Governor; the same God that saw me through all those episodes is still on the throne. Dem think say l be ordinary person? No man doeth these things except God be with him -John 3:2. So, nothing dey shelle.
