As part of the way to recognize her philanthropic gesture in Nigeria, the Federal Commissioner National Salaries Income and wages Commission(NSIWC) Dr Mojisola Yaya-Kolade has been inducted into NANS Hall of Fame and Presentation of Award as “Patrotic Personality” by the National Association of Nigerian Students.
While receiving the Award, Dr Yaya-Kolade said she was honored and indeed humbled to be selected as one of the few to be noticed for the investiture and award.
The erstwhile commissioner of health in Ekiti state noted that the award of excellence would further spur her to continue to do more in her philanthropic gesture and service to mankind.
She charged the students and the youths to continue to keep hope alive and never to be relegated or discouraged by their individual background saying patriotism to Nigeria should be upheld by all citizens.
“I are happy to associate with the Nigeria students because of what you stand for as the future of this nation and when I say you are the future I mean you are our future”. Yaya-Kolade said.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation and the Public Relations Officer of NANS national, Comrade Victor Ezenagu in his welcome address stated that the students community nominated the MOKOLADE Foundation founder due to the positive impacts of the foundation in Ekiti State and Nigeria in general.
Comrade Victor Ezenagu reiterated that “Nigerian Students have seen the ingenuity in you, Nigerian students are proud to associate with you, indeed you have carved a niche for yourself and the women of this country, as a matter of fact your personality depicts a hardworking, focused and patriotic Nigerian who can bring the needed change in Nigeria to make our country a better place via actualization of our dream country”.
Dr. Mojisola Yaya-Kolade who is a world record owner as a successful Nurse, Midwife, Pharmacist and a Physician (Consultant) later dedicated the award to the entire youth of Nigeria.
