Government of the highest bidders

I love thee,but I hate your ways

I love Nigeria my Country
But I hate the fact that it is slowly metamorphosing into a COWntry
Where citizenship guarantees you no glimmer of hope nor a secured Future
Because the ruling class sees you as a mere appendage or a decorative piece of Furniture.

Myke Pam

I love myself pretty Well
But I hate it when human praises and oftentimes, fake adulation makes my head Swell
Which then beclouds my reasoning faculty and Senses
And fires up my ego enough to convince me to discard Commonsense

I love and I play that beautiful game called Football
But I hate the fact that the government constantly aim the football at my Balls
Because they’ve now perfected the style of using the game as a sweet-scented blindfold
Shrouded over my eyes while they lead us like obedient sheep to the slaughterhouse after to the highest bidder we have been Sold

Once again, I love my country Nigeria
But I still hate the fact that all I see is corruption, desolation, wanton killings and unbridled lawlessness in this Area
Where you are not guaranteed safety as you travel by road, air, waterways and Railways
A country without respect for the living nor honor for the death but plenty of room and inexplicable compassion for the ‘Born Throways!’
A country so gifted and blessed, yet intentionally and maliciously mismanaged, pillaged, abused, raped, bruised and totally Debased!

Indeed, I love thee my country but I hate thy ways!
