Former Vice President and a presidential aspirant, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has congratulated the Super Eagles for holding their host the Black Stars of Ghana to a goalless draw.
Atiku, in his immediate response to the encounter between Nigeria and Ghana on Friday, said the Nigerian side has a second chance to beat the Ghanaians.
Atiku wrote. “Well done, Super Eagles. You have a second chance on Tuesday to make Nigeria’s participation in Qatar 2022 a reality. As one, we can surmount any challenges.“
Nigerians look forward to Tuesday’s encounter between the two teams for a second leg.
