Prominent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains led by former Senate President Bukola Saraki are meeting in Abuja.
Others are the Governors of Bauchi and Sokoto States, Bala Mohammed and Aminu Tambuwal.

The PDP leaders are meeting over the PDP 2023 presidential ticket expected to be keenly contested.
A source present close to the meeting said that consultations are ongoing regarding the agreement of a consensus PDP flagbearer to face that of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
in the next general elections.
Saraki, Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed had earlier this week met in Abuja where it was learnt that the trio might reach consensus amongst them
