When you are inured in unabashed dislike for someone, you are bound to misjive. Farooq Kperogi, has never hidden his disdain for Osinbajo. That is okay. Nothing wrong with that but when such disdain has become almost pathological, then, there is a problem.
The RCCG issued a memo on how the church could encourage her members to be interested in politics and the church intends to support such candidates. The church did not mention anybody’s name but Kperogi, as usual, spewed his tirades on Osinbajo. Unfortunately for him, his vituperation is going to backfire and work in favour of the object of his tirades. He didn’t even know that the wife of another presidential aspirant is also an assistant pastor in the same church.
Meanwhile, the Kperogi of a guy didn’t say a word when prof. Akinola of MURIC had openly campaigned against any Christian candidate! Prof. Akintola was expressing his opinion to which he is entitled but because Kperogi has an axe to grind with Osinbajo, he is fixated with Osinbajo, who didn’t issue the memo, while he turned the other eye when prof. Akintola made his position known. Very cheap.
