Madam Esade
THE matriarch of Esade family, Mrs Victoria Olomoekugbe Esade who passed on November 25, 2021 will be buried on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Orogun town in Ughelli North Local Government Council of Delta State.
She was survived by children and grand children, and great grand children.
Mama Esade was aged 83. In a short statement signed by Mr Onome Esade, the funeral rites for the departed retired teacher and church leader would begin on March 16 with a Service of Songs at St Albert’s Catholic Church, Orogun. The funeral ceremony and interment will follow on March 18. The Thanksgiving mass will be held on March 20 at the same St Albert’s Catholic church, Orogun.
“Our mother lived a good life and we are proud of her. When a mother takes care of her children, the children will always be proud of her even at death. We grieve, yes, but she lived well for humanity. In fact, March 18 is not a day of mourning for the family she left behind, it is a day of celebration, celebration of a life well spent.”
Mrs Esade was the mother of journalist and media lobbyist, Justin Akpovi-Esade.
