There is palpable confusion over the fate of the Director General of the Progressive Governors Forum, PGF, Salihu Lukman who some sources said has resigned
His resignation it was gathered was the crisis over the national convention of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

While some reports gathered that Lukman resigned in protests against what he perceives to be the unending wrangling within the governors and other stakeholders within the party.
However,another report said the DG was sacked by the Governors after their meeting in Abuja weekend.
He was said to have been sacked for what a source described as alleged involvement in anti-party activities.
