Schools in Ogun state are now to resume for the second term on Monday January 10,2022 , Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof Abayomi Arigbabu declared on Thursday.
The new date he said are for primary, secondary and technical colleges in the state.

It will be recalled that the schools had gone on first term break on Friday, December 10 and were earlier told to resume for the second term of the 2021/2022 academic session on Tuesday, January 4.
Prof Arigbabu in the statement disclosed the extension of the holiday by one week.
He said the extension of the resumption by one week was necessitated by series of pre-resumption activities put up by the Ministry to further reposition education in the state.
He said part of the pre-resumption activities involve the students and their parents or guardians to visit their schools between Tuesday, January 4 and Monday 10 to sign undertaking of willingness to abide by the laid down rules and regulation while also supporting and enforcing discipline in schools.
