Yetty D, a fashion lover, entrepreneur, designer and more, recently launched her Ziggy Collections in collaboration with Morin O’.
The Ziggy Collections included 8 designs which were inspired by Yetty D’s love for zigzags, patterns, and pastel colours.
Speaking at the launch which was held at Morin O’ Store, Lekki Centro Mall, Lekki, Lagos, Yetunde Ogunnubi aka Yetty D said the event is to commemorate her 40th birthday, among others.
On why she chose to partner Morin O’, Yetty D said she decided to collaborate with her because of her long standing luxury leather brand that has been in business for over a decade. “Morin O’ is known for its craftsmanship and reputation for delivering meticulously timeless pieces to bring her designs to life” said Yetty D.
The Collections also came about as a result of her passion for fashion. “I used to be a designer before I became a PR Consultant; I participated in the African Fashion week 2015 where I did a Collection in participation with Africa. But as a PR Consultant now I barely have time for other things, but I decided to explore other things that I’m passionate about as I turned 40 this year” she said
Speaking more on Ziggy Collections, Yetty D said she is drawn to bright colours.
Her words “I’m also obsessed with shapes when it comes to designing shoes, bags and clothes and the target is for women that love fashion”
The collaboration according to the Creative Director and Founder, Morin O’ Designs Ltd. Morin Obayewa is a special brand because it is a testimony of strong partnership. “Yetty D has been part of Morin O’ brand and Morin O’ story in several ways. She has been our PR Consultant for many years and this makes it easier for her to be integrated with a brand as it were’ said Obayewa
“The Collections she pointed out is a pre-order collection i.e seeing the bag styles and you have the liberty to choose your own designs, colour and texture that is unique to you” said Obayewa.
Yetty D is no stranger to the fashion and design industry, having grown up in an Arts and creative family, owning a fashion label for many years, and now handling PR and image-making for many lifestyle businesses.
Morin O’ is a long standing luxury leather brand that has been in business for over a decade.
