…Show poorly attended

Unspecified number of Nigerian journalists who attended Arise Fashion Week that held in Dubai are still trapped in the country as they are said to have contacted the dread COVID-19.

Story has it that they tested at the airport on their way home after the show and they tested positive and were promptly sent to isolation centre.
Though our source refused to disclose their identity and number, he only insisted that they are still there and will be in the insolation centre until they test positive.
The source equally refuse to say whether it is the Omicron variant of COVID-19 that they contracted or the ordinary COVID-19.
The Nigerian delegation had travelled to Dubai for the show on a chartered Air Peace that had other personalities like Nduka Obaigbena, ….Onyema, Dele Momodu among others on board last Thursday.
Most of the fashion writers who went for the show that Newdawn spoke were full of lamentations as they alleged that the organisers of the show did not take proper care of them, feeding wise while the event itself the kind of crowd they anticipated.
“I think that there must be other reason for taking the show to Dubai; I am sure that if it was done in Nigeria, it will not have poorly attended like that,” the source said.
Similarly, Big Brother Nigeria’s Maria is also in isolation in Ghana having contacted the virus in the country.
