Police seals off Dowen College

736

Indications have emerged that the Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, Mr. Hakeem Odumosu may have ordered the sealing off of Dowen College in Lekki as outrage grows on the killing of a student, Solomon Oromoni by fellow students.

It will be recalled that the deceased is said to have been bullied and killed by fellow students who had mounted pressure on his to join their cult when he refused.

Only yesterday, the Lagos State Police Command said it has commenced investigation into his death but sources within the command told DAILY RIPPLES that as a prelude the school has been sealed off to allow for proper probe of the incidence.

Our correspondent who visited the school located at Lekki upscale area of the state came back with the report of heavy presence of armed policemen marauding within the premises of the school but efforts to get in touch with the Commissioner of Police or the spokesman of the command are yet to yield any fruits as at the time of filing these reports.

Details later…
