A Gas Explosion at Ojekunle Street ,off Ladipo street, Mushin,Lagos has left unspecified number of people dead.
As at now there is commotion everywhere as firefighters are battling to bring things under normal.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA in a statement said it had responded to distress calls at the location and dispatched firefighters.
Part of the statement reads : ” On arrival at the scene, multiple gas cylinders were observed to have exploded with others still leaking gas.
There appears to be extensive damage.
Casualties are still being determined. Back up from Lasambus has been sought while the area is being cordoned off.
“Members of the public are advised to refrain from igniting flame while motorists are being advised to use alternative routes
