Enugu commissioner for Land and Urban Development,Dr Victor Nnam,has resigned his appointment over what he described as undue interference with his work.
He dropped his resignation letter weekend.

Dr. Victor Nnam said the Governor punished those working under him for simply doing their job.
He said the Governor’s conduct was contrary to his expectations to be given free hands to run his show without any undue interference.
In his resignation letter which was addressed to the Governor Ifeanyi Uguanyi which was dated Friday October 29, the former Commissioner expressed reservations over the removal of the professional heads of department under him.
“My conscience will no longer allow me to continue to serve you while those innocent professional senior civil servants for doing the right thing.” He wrote
He said when he was appointed he accepted the offer because he was going to be allowed to bring on board international best practices.
He thanked the Governor for giving him the opportunity to serve the state.
