…Asks citizens to pray for leaders not to take wrong decisions

General Overseer if the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has said that God will soon deliver Nigeria from the scourge of terrorism,banditry and economic downturn .
Speaking at a Thanksgiving sermon Sunday at the headquarters of the Church,he said that because Nigeria is involved in the affairs of the nation,”all acts of Terrorism, banditry will soon come to and end”.
Quoting from the book of Exodus,when God stop the pandemic in the land of Egypt,he spared the Israelites,he will do same for Nigeria.
According to him,if Nigeria can escape mass death during the Coronavirus pandemic last year as predicted by experts and World Health Organisation,WHO,he will do same because he has a hand in the affairs of the nation.
He called on Nigerians to call on God to get involved in the affairs of Nigeria so that he can turn the tide adding,” only a blind and deaf will say all is well with Nigeria”.
According to the clergy man ,there is a need to pray for leaders at all levels not to take wrong decisions and not to make mistakes that could cost the citizens a lot.
Speaking further at the service attended by Lagos Governor,Babajide Sanwoolu and traditional rulers,he said God will turn around the economic situation of the country as he did with the people of Samaria in 2 Kings7 saying,”Nigeria will survive and the glory of the country will shine again because hand of God is on the country”.”I prophesy that very soon the country will be another testimony to behold.It will be well with Nigeria”.
Pastor Adeboye enjoined Nigerians to praise him so that, “he would prove himself and everybody will know that he is God” and he will prove himself in the life of Nigeria.
