Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba has featured renowned Nigerian music legend Bongos Ikwue in his latest musical offering. The single ‘Searching’ was released by 2Baba through his record label Hypertek Digital this morning, and is available on all streaming platforms.
The long-anticipated single which features the distinctively soothing vocals of both music legends, trans-generational beacons of the Idoma nation, tells the story of a glorious end to a man’s search for true love.
Although both men are almost four decades apart in age, their collaboration on ‘Searching’ is proof that musical genius transcends genre and generational boundaries.
2Baba first hinted about the collaboration earlier in the year, and fans from all over the globe have anticipated this moment. ‘Searching’ is coming on the heels of ‘Rise Up’, 2Baba’s most recent single which dropped in July 2021.
