Super Eagles has maintained an 100% win to the start of their 2022 World Cup qualifiers after defeating Cape Verde 2-1 on Tuesday.

Cape Verde took a shock lead in the 18th minutes through Dylan Tavaras before Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen capitalised on a defensive error from Cape Verde to bring them to parity.
However, an own goal from Cape Verde in the 76th minutes ensure Nigeria got another three points and move top of Group C on six points.
