Towulade Akinale, Oba Olufemi Ogunleye, has advised the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, to consider, as priority, residents of the rural areas in Ogun State for the new Covid 19 vaccination.

Oba Ogunleye regretted that the villagers in near or far from the local government headquarters in the state did not benefit from the first batch of the vaccine.
In Ewekoro local government, for instance, Oba Ogunleye lamented, residents in Akinale, Ajebo, Iporo, Maku, Lugbena, Akihan, Ojoo and several other villages in the suburb were not captured in the past vaccination exercises.
The traditional ruler said his worries were manifested from his experience during the beginning of Covid 19 pandemic when these same residents were short-changed by politicians from the distribution of government palliatives.
“Only good Samaritans like NGOs and social clubs, in which Oba Ogunleye was a member, bailed out our villagers out of their wants” Oba Ogunleye explained.
