Kunle Onime, the CEO of MPC, the leading exprential market leader, is beside himself with joy as his all reggae music focused radio station, Roots 97.1 FM, clocks two years tomorrow.

The station, began commercial broadcasting in the month of August, precisely 19 August 2019 in the rocky city of Abeokuta.
Though a primarily reggae music playing station, it has also been known to play other genres of music like Apala, fuji, highlife, juju, pop and hip-pop.
The interesting thing is that since it came on air, Roots has never been off air.
In a Whatapps chat of with Onime, he said that the celebration will be in a low key form.
