The Ibadan airport on Tuesday received the maiden flight of one of the country’s leading airlines, Air Peace.
The airline is said to have committed itself to a daily flight to Ibadan as part of its expansion programme.
Speaking at the reception for the flight, Governor Seyi Makinde thanked the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) for working with his government on the renovation and remodeling projects of the protocol section of the airport.
Ibadan is said to be another strategic aviation facilities in the South West part of the country with another airport in Akure.
