Commissioner for Information in Niger State, Mr. Sani Idris have been kidnapped by bandits..
Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Ahmed Matane who confirmed this also disclosed that Idris was abducted at about 1am in his hometown Baban Tuga in the Ataga Local Government Area of the state.
It will be recalled that the state has come under heavy attacks by bandits as many schools have been attacked with students abducted.
In particular schools have been targets of attacks by the bandits.
