Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has granted approval for the release of N10m to each of the local governments in the state to disburse to indigents during this week’s Eldel Kabir Celebrations.
In the letter signed July 14,and addressed to all Local government chairmen mandated the head of administration of the councils,to use the money as welfare package to all indigents in each of the local governments.
In the letter signed by TA Mustapha, Director Local government affairs office of the Honourable commissioner for local government directed the officials to ensure the money is used for the purpose indicated.
