The University of Lagos on Friday said it has not taken any decision over the case of Miss Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu, the confessed killer of London based Chief Executive Officer of popular Super TV, late Usifo Michael Ataga.
The University said Chidinma’s case came to the institution through the popular news media just like any other Nigerian adding that the alleged offence was committed not on the campus of the institution.
According to Mrs. Nonye Oguama, the institution’s spokesperson who spoke with the NPO Reports on Friday, Chidinma’s case is not University of Lagos’ issue as according to her, it’s an offense she committed outside the campus of the institution.
Asked if the institution is making any steps to act on her matter, the spokesperson asked, “Like what? On a matter that happened outside the campus? On her personal life?”
The 300 Level Student of the institution was arrested by Lagos Police Command and paraded on Thursday over the killing of the Super TV boss at a Lekki, Lagos rented apartment.
During parade in Lagos, Chidinma confessed to stabbing the man while others involved in the crime are still at large.
She was said to also have withdrawn money from Ataga’s account.
