Again, another Dangote truck has been set ablaze by an angry mob after it crushed a commercial motorcyclist and a passenger to death in Ogun State.
NPOreports gathered that the incident happened along the Ilaro-Ibese Road in the state Friday.
The driver of the truck escaped death after the mob set the truck ablaze.
Confirming the incident, The Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Babatunde Akinbiyi, on Saturday said, “The Dangote truck reckless driver left its lane to face the motorcyclist and the passenger at his back, in the other lane and crushed them to death.
“The case is being handled by the Dangote Plant Police.”
While commiserating with the families of the victims, he disclosed that one of the corpses of the victims had been deposited at Ilaro General Hospital morgue.
He also added that the other victim had been buried by the family.
