Private sector engine of growth in Lagos -Sanwo-Olu

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has described the private sector as the engine of growth in Lagos.
He made the declaration when he graced the launching of Heirs Insurance & Heirs Life Assurance which is aimed at improving lives and providing financial services in Nigeria.

Sanwo-Olu who lauded Tony Elumelu for the huge success for bringing the company to life said people no longer acknowledged private sectors well enough, which was why he graced the groundbreaking event.

He promised the private sector and others doing great work his government’s support by trying to reposition and ensure they continue to survive in the state.

Sanwo-Olu who noted that the private sectors are the engine of growth in the state, said his government will continue to encourage and ensure a smooth relationship that will work for the benefit of every Lagosians in the state.

“This is another opportunity for everyone looking for a job to try,” he said.

Speaking earlier, Chairman of the United Bank for Africa and Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu, said to rid of unemployment in the country, the public and private sectors must unite and work together.
