…ACP Atine pulled the trigger
Omoyele Sowore, who is the Convener of the Revolution Now Movement has confirmed being shot police officer in Abuja Monday morning.
This is against the claim of the public relations officer of Federal Capital Territory,Mariam Yusuf, who said in a a statement earlier today that social media report claims are false.

Sowore in his verified Twitter handle, personally sent out a message accusing one of the officers, Assistant Commissioner of Police Atine of being the one who allegedly pulled the trigger.
The Police have however denied shooting the activist.
He wrote “Just been shit (sic) by a police officer, ACP Atine at the Unity Fountain in Abuja.”
He and others had gathered at the Unity Fountain Abuja for a protest slated to hold today.
He was immediately taken to a hospital for attention.
Accompanying him to the hospital were sympathizers including leader of the Concerned Nigerians Group Deji Adeyanju.
Sowore however said to his followers that the struggle must continue if he dies.
He said, “Let the struggle continue even if they take my life! “
