The Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, OOPL, in Abeokuta, Ogun State has been razed by suspected gas explosion.
In the incident which happened at 11.30am led to the death of two staffers die while others sustain various degrees of injury.
The incident is coming barely few days after a similar gas explosion occurred at Otunba Gbenga Daniels,Conference Hotel with the same vicinity and which led to death of two staffers with many others sustaining injuries.
It was gathered that the explosion occured at the Marque event centre within the Presidential Library when technicians were topping up gas into the air conditioner (AC).
It was also gathered that State fire Service and security operatives have arrived the venue of the incident to stop the fire from destroying the remaining part of the building and furniture.
