Citizens demand for Secession
Promoters and supporters of a separate Yoruba nation took their protest rally to the streets of Oshogbo,the osun state capital Saturday.
It was held in a very peaceful manner.
The protesters who were peaceful in their conducts, carried banners, posters, as well as Yoruba nation flags and chanting secession songs to make their voices heard.
NPOreports gathered that the protesters converged on November 27 bridge in the Africa area, Osogbo for the protest and marched through Ogo-Oluwa, Aregbe junction, Fakunle, Ola-Iya and Odi Olowo areas.
The presence of heavy security operatives at the venue of the protest at Freedom Park, Osogbo, limit the protesters demonstrations as they were later stopped and disbanded.
