Nigeria is one contraption with daily drama playing out, the latest is reported news of residences of Prof Ibrahim Gambari, (Chief of Staff) and Alhaji Abdulahi Maikano (AO, Presidential Villa) being burgled. This is totally laughable, its easy to conclude we have infantile political leadership today
The entire Three Arms Zone is comprised of Aso Rock (Executive), National Assembly (Legislative), Appeal and Supreme Courts (Judiciary) which are all well fortified and secured by combined DSS operatives and Army officers at different entry and exit points
We all know the Chief of Staff is the head of all administrative staffs in the Presidency while
Alhaji Abdulahi Maikano who retired as DSS Director and whose office is very sensitive and important in Presidency for security of life and properties and the one who guides the restricted entrance to the President’s office and residence
Anyway the same Alhaji Maikano drafted me into Buhari camp in 2012 and I worked with him till I departed their camp in June 2016, if its same man with retinue of DSS officers both in his office and residence will now be the one whose house is burgled inside the Three Arms Zone then Garba Shehu and the upstarts in media need to start roles as comedian in Nollywood or scriptwriters writing short skits
My own little interpretation of the whole fiasco is simple. The infighting and internal wrangling in Aso Rock is fierce, maybe some forces opposed to both Chief of Staff and Administrative Officer sent some state agents to ransack and cart away sensitive official documents from their residences to indict them in the ongoing bitter battle for supremacy but inserted the news in the media and made it look like burglary or armed robbery, reason there was a key statement several cash carted away. That piece of news about cash na bobo to distract us
Let me remind you all again, 31st December 1983 when same President Muhammadu Buhari took over power in a bloody coup, one significant thing happened, Ikenne home of Late Pa Obafemi Awolowo was ransacked and sensitive documents carted away. So its modus operandi (MO) of Buhari administration
I hope you all can piece the jigsaw puzzle together now and realise that someone somewhere in the Presidential Villa authorized this action. I know for certain there are different camps in the Presidential Villa. My disappointment however since I read the laughable and infantile news plus retraction released by Garba Shehu, the fact he didn’t have the presence of mind and brain to manage the unfortunate incident and do a better PR leaves a bitter taste in my mouth
Anyway na all of dem sabi, “kan mi da ninu oku iya Adele gan sef”
