Offensive sermons:Mbaka apologizes to The Catholic Church

The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministries Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has apologized to the Catholic Church over his mistakes in recent times.
It will be recalled that the clergy had been in the news of late for his controversial pronouncement s not he federal government which earned him and his followers a spiritual sanction of seven days.

MBAKA AND BUHARI

While delivering his sermon on Sunday, Mbaka asked Bishop of the Diocese, Callistus Onaga, to forgive him and his followers for his comments and theirs which have rubbed off negatively on the church.

He also cautioned his followers against violence, after some of them broke into the diocesan cathedral on Wednesday when his whereabouts was unknown for some hours.

“I can’t disobey them church — who am I? How can somebody who has been serving the church for 25 years come out to begin to fight the same church. Everything in my life is for the church,” he said.

Bishop Onaga had directed Mbaka and his followers to go on a 7 day prayer of atonement.

Mbaka who had fraternized with the Buhari administration got under the cane after he called for the resignation of Buhari alleging he is not able to manage the affairs of the nation.

The Presidency came out to strip Mbaka stating he was asking for contracts from the Buhari government.
