Policemen in Akinle

The team led by the Area Commander Musiliu Aliu ,had earlier visited the area on Thursday in response to logistic information about itinerant bandits and mauraders. Although they did not arrest anyone but discovered a herdsmen location which, in security terms, may be accessory to the trending crimes.
As early as day break, the police had laid siege on entrances to the forest terrain in the Akinale neighbourhood where some herdsmen had occupied as colony.
The occupants and their herds had, however, vamoosed before the police arrived the spot.
The entire community hailed the police for their continued effort to relief them of daily nightmare of insecurity in the area.
