The deceased brother, Leke Adeboye, has reacted to the death of his brother, Pastor Dare Adeboye.
He likened the passage of his sibling as that of a righteous man.
He express his feelings with a posting on his Facebook page and shared a screenshot of a Bible verse — Isaiah 57:1 — which borders on loss.l
”The righteous man perishes at the hand of evil], and no one takes it to heart; faithful and devout men are taken away while no one understands that the righteous person is taken away [to be spared] from disaster and evil,” he wrote.
It will be recalled that many Nigerians have conveyed their condolences to the Adeboye family since the news of the young pastors sudden death broke Thursday morning.
Indeed the death of Dare Adeboye has thrown Nigerians into mourning with the family saying it wanted to be accorded right of privacy while the mourning lasted.
Dare was reported to have died in his sleep on Wednesday, May 5, in Eket, Akwa Ibom state.
In 2020, when Dare celebrated his 42nd birthday, his father described him as “our first miracle child”.
“We pray that God will keep his miraculous working power in your life and all those who needs a miracle today, will use you as a point of contact for their own in JESUS name. (Amen) love from Dad, Mom and the whole Adeboye dynasty,” he wrote in the caption of a video where he was praying for Dare.
