The house of Yoruba political activist,Sunday Adeyemo Igboho came under attack of the Nigerian army Monday.
The attack of his residence was confirmed in a tweet by his spokesman, Olayomi Koiki.
He said that attack started in the middle of the night with gun shots being fired into Igbohos residence by men of the Nigerian army.
Like it happened in the South East states of Imo and Abia previous week, Ibadan Oyo State capital now seems to be next target obviously by the federal government to silence opposition and clamour for secession being championed by the Indegious Peoples Republic of Biafra,IPOB under the aegis of South East Security Network(ESN) and movement for Odua Republic being championed by Igboho.
It will be recalled that President Muhammad Buhari has promised to quell all opposition to the government political programme, the sponsors of insecurity in the country and clamour for secession when he returned from medical trip abroad last week.
The military establishment is yet to issue a statement on the new development in Ibadan.
