Dr Zakaria Dogo Yaro, a member of the Haske Baptist Church,in Namibia Tasha village in Chukun Local government area of Kaduna state and staff of state ministry of health was killed alongside other parishioners who were abducted when bandits attack the church Saturday morning during worship.
According to reports, the suspected bandits who stormed the Church around 10a.m abducted an unspecified numbers of worshippers.
It will be recalled that bandit kidnappings are almost common in Kaduna, one of Nigeria’s most populous states.
It will be recalled that last Wednesday Greenfield University, a private Institution in Chukun LGA had some of its students abducted on April 20, while three out of the students were discovered dead few days after being kidnapped.
A security guard was also shot during the raid .
Approximately 40 students are reported to be missing from the private university, despite the lack of official confirmation.
Also after an attack by gunmen on April 22, two nurses were kidnapped from Idon Hospital in Kajuru LGA of the state.
The armed men allegedly entered the hospital through the fence, opened fire, and kidnapped the nurses working the night shift.
