Former Governor of Ekiti State Ayodele Fayose on Monday throw in the towel in the political ding dong battle for leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the South as he succumbed to the leadership of the Governor of Oyo Engr Seyi Makinde as the leader of congress of the party in the South West.
Fayose stated this in Osogbo at the commencement of the South West Congress of the People’s Democratic Party.
This is coming after months of leadership and supremacy tussle between Fayose and Makinde over who leads the party in the zone.
