Samoa Suluhu Hassan,former Vice President of Tanzania has taken d oath of office and sworn in as the new country’s President.
The 61-year-old former VP replaces her principal, John Magufuli who died on Wednesday.

Dr Hassan paid tribute to her predecessor Magufuli and pledged to respect the constitution.
