Speaking in a viral video, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adetokunbo OkikiOla, Gbadegeshin Tejuosho, the first Traditional Ruler of Olu Orile Kemta Egba land, in Ogun State. Oba Tejuosho reveals how he lost 20million naira due to the damages inflicted on his farmland of about 400acres by Fulani’s herdsmen, and also he dares anyone to arrest the popular Yoruba Activist and Freedom Fighter, Sunday Igboho.
Here is everything Oba Tejuosho said in the video:
“My name is Oba Adetokunbo Okikiola Tejuosho. I’m a son of warriors, my forefathers are from the warrior clan. I saw the video where they want to arrest Chief Sunday Igbobo. Anybody who dare arrest Sunday Igboho will regret such decision. That’s when people will know that the Yoruba’s still has spiritual powers, charms and deities. People should dare not think the Yoruba’s are no longer powerful anymore. It’s because we the Yoruba’s are so magnanimous, we don’t just get angry easily or get into a fight hastily. Before we fight, we always think twice. We hate war not because we are scared, far from it, Yoruba people are not scared.
Why will anyone want to arrest Sunday Igboho. He only came out to warn the killer Fulani’s not to kill the Yoruba’s again and to stop destroying the Yoruba’s farmland. There is no way we’re going to keep quiet. Recently, I lost 20million naira to Fulani herdsmen. Close to 20million of my farm proceeds were destroyed and damaged by the herdsmen and their cows. All of my maize about 400 acres are gone and the evidence is there. Anybody is free to come and look at it. And we are expected to keep quiet and say nothing and when we have now decided to talk, they want to start arresting our activist and spokesman. If this continue, we are going to wake all our deities and once we do that, there is no going back. Yoruba’s are powerful and we still have our deities, but we are peaceful people and no one should take advantage of that.”
