Governor of Kano State, Umar Abdulahi Ganduje has sacked his Special Assistant on Media Salihu Tanko-Yakassai.
The decision was hinged on what the governor called conflict of interests .
Tanko-Yakassai was allegedly arrested Saturday morning by operatives of the Directorate of State Security.
He had called out President Muhammadu Buhari over insecurity and advised the President to resign over incessant kidnapping and attacks on schools across the Northern states of Nigeria.
