Lagos NASU suspends strike



The Lagos State University chapters of the Non-Academic Staff of Nigerian Universities and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities on Thursday suspended their almost three weeks of industrial action.

The bodies said negotiations have attained a stage where they can both return to work for smooth academic works to continue on the institution.

They said the intervention by Governor Babajide Sanwoolu gave them the confidence to return to work convinced that all issues relating to welfare would be sorted as promised.
