Former Chief Judge of the High Courts of the Federation Justice Abdul Kafarati has died.
Kafarati was once Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Bauchi State before he became a Federal High Court Judge.
A family source confirmed that Kafarati died in the evening of Thursday.
The source was quoted as saying “Innalillahi Wa inna ilaihi Rajiun. It is with deep sorry that I announced the passing away of our elder statesman, Hon Justice Abdul Kafarati the immediate past Chief Justice of High court of the Federation and former Bauchi State Attorney General which occurred this night (Thursday) after magrib Salat at Abuja.”
No cause for the death of the late judge was revealed.
