General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has identified the sterling quanlities in her wife,Pastor Folu Adeboye, as one of the reasons vfor his success of the ministry which he assumed leadership 40 years ago.
He made this declaration Sunday at a special Thanksgiving service to mark his appointment as the head of the Church after the death ofvthevfiubder Reverend Jodiah Akindayomi in 1981
According to him’tovwish for a wife who is better than his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye to ask for an angel as wife adding”having an angel as wife would have been difficult
“: I could not have done the work successfully with all the challenges at inception in 1981wxceotvacperson off my wife whom God used to stand for me attedibg to the physical demands of the church which then had only 39 parishes all over the country.
Said he, “I have to be in the prayer room most of the time while my wife was busy with the physical adding that today God has fulfilled his convenant by promoting him from a one bedroom apartment to a camp with self generating infrastructures like electricity, water and all the good things of life available in the city provided by government.
In the sermon of the day titled Sunrise, he enjoined believer not to mess with God but dingus buddings to be successful in life.
Pastor Adeboye all extolls the virtues of late founder of the church Reverend Akindayomi who he said hears from God directly and hearken tobhim by chosen him as successor among many other senior pastors in the Church to succeed him.
