Isoko reggae queen, Evi-Edna Ogholi whose songs like Happt Birthday ruled the world in the 1980s and probably still ruling the music world, has stated that the coronavirus pandemic, which has been ravaging the world since 2019, is the reason the release of her lstest album is delayed.
Titled Peace and Love, the brand new album as he said, was recorded in Italy for Enorecords LLC Italy and produced by Jossy Joe(Baddest/Golden Producer).
Others who had a hand in producing the album she continued include Eno Ossgie, (Winning Jah), owner/managing director of Enorecords LCC Italy, MC Apostle Paul Odion, Jude Victor and Martins.
In a Facebook interview, Evi, who was previously married to a music producer, Emma Ogosi, stated as follows,”we are patiently waiting for the dreaded coronavirus sickness that has brought humanity to a temporary standstill to subside.
” All my scheduled radio, TV and press interviews have been, unfortunately, postponed also till further notice.
“In France, where I live, all cafe/restaurants, Cinema halls , all Cultural event centres, museums have been shut down by the government. Showbusiness is on hold in France,”she explained just as she urged her teeming fans to bear with her.
