Burning of house: I won’t speak until after investigation – Igboho

Yoruba activist,Sunday Igboho whose house situated in Soka area of Ibadan was razed by fire early Tuesday morning have said he will wait until the conclusion of investigations into the incident.
In his first reaction after the incident went viral, he was not going to blame anyone, until an investigation has been concluded.

According to him, he wasn’t in a hurry to blame any individual or group for the suspected arson whicb took place on his house, rather he would allow authorities to conduct their investigation into the incident.

“I cannot blame anyone right now for the attack, not even Fulani people”, he said via telephone interview few hours after the fire attack this morning.

“We have to thank God that nobody was killed, it is more important”, he noted.
Reports trending around had it that Igboho’s house in Soka, Ibadan was gutted by fire at about 3am this morning on Tuesday.

He also added, that he had moved out of the house about a year ago to a new house also located in Soka, Ibadan.

Igboho, had been in the national wave after given quit notice to Fulani Herdersmen in Igangan, Ibarapa area of Oyo State, following their various atrocities committed, and the State Governor, Seyi Makinde also ordered his arrest.
Meanwhile, a spokesman of President Muhammed Buhari, also said the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, had also ordered his arrest.
The arrest has so far not been carried out, even after Igboho met with the new police commissioner in Oyo State, Ngozi Onadeko.
