Ogunleye, others to dialogue on civil justice in Ogun State



The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL) The Netherlands, has invited Oba Olufemi Ogunleye. Towulade Akinale, among a group of justice leaders to participate in a civil justice transformation laboratory beginning in Abeokuta Monday 18 January.
In a letter addressed to Oba Ogunleye from the HIIL in the Hague, Ijeoma Nwafor, Nigeria Country Representative (HiiL, Justice Transformation), said the civil justice transformation dialogue in Ogun State is designed to explore how people-centered justice approach can complement current efforts to reform civil justice in the state.
Nwafor further explained that the objective of the stakeholder dialogue is to serve as representation of the larger civil justice ecosystem, coming together to deliberate and develop goals.
The dialogue initially planned to hold at Park Inn by Radisson hotel Abeokuta Monday and Tuesday 18 and 19 January has been rescheduled to hold virtually because of the COVID 19 pandemic.
Oba Ogunleye is to represent the Ogun State traditional institution at the dialogue which is sponsored by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with Ogun State Ministry of Justice. Ends/
