It was the turn of Kogi state early Friday as gunmen have in the wee hours of the day kidnapped a First Class traditional ruler , Alhaji Usman Shuaibu.

Usman, who is the acting Eje of Ankpa, was allegedly picked by masked men who shot sporadically at about 5:30am Friday, laid ambush near the mosque where he was set to pray the early morning prayer.
As at press time, there had not been any contact with the family. The State police command is also yet to make any statement.
