Unless there is a change on the part of citizens,the National Economic Council(NEC) may decide to once again enforce a new set of rules which must be adhered to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in the country ..
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who dropped the hint after the meeting said it is scary the rate at which the virus is spreading again.
Said he, “At the just concluded National Economic Council meeting, we expressed concerns about the resurgence of COVID-19 and have resolved to ensure rigourous and strict enforcement of certain interventions.”
Among the rules to be enforced are prevention of gatherings which could lead to infections, that all offices must have hand washing posts outside the offices while all
employ must wear masks.
Other measures include fumigation and ventilation of all offices and business premisss and enforcement of temperature checks at all office entrances.
Just yesterday the National Centre for Disease Control announced 1,145 cases of infection across the country.
