A report reaching Patmos Media Line indicates that the staff of police of the Lagos monarch, Oba Rilwan Akilu, taken away by one of the hoodlums that invaded the place in the wake of the EndSARS protesters has been recovered.

The staff of the office was taken away by one of the hoodlums as they destroyed the Iga Idungaran Palace of the Oba, turning the place upside down and carting away valuable things including money.

The hoodlum who took away the staff was seen on camera displaying the insignia of office of the traditional ruler with relish.

A news on line media, Weetalknaija.com.ng in a special report stated that the Ogboni cult had retrieved the staff of office and the young man who took it away died mysteriously.

According to an unidentified man who gave his name as Agboola Kotun, the young man died mysteriously.

It will be recalled that the Akinsemoyin ruling House had during the week warned that those who took the staff should return it within 24 hours which lapsed at midnight of Friday.

A prominent Lagos Prince, Yomi Tokosi assured on Friday that recovery of the staff was not a challenge but the desecration of the royal palace for which there is a severe consequence but did not elaborate what was the penalty or propitiation.
