Just like his mother, Pastor Mrs. Foluke Adeboye, Sunday sent food to protesters who encamped at the entrance of Lagos house of assembly,her son,Leke Adeboye, one of the sons of Enoch Adeboye, general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG),also lent a spiritual has as he led a service for #EndSARS at the same location.
The service which held at the protest ground in front of government house, Lagos, had Christian faithful in attendance.
“I want all of us to know that this nation has been handed over to us slowly but surely by this singular move that we are all here representing our families, friends and nation. This is the beginning of the new Nigeria,” he said.
“Father, please touch my nation! Please touch our leaders! Please touch me!
“Oh Lord! Touch this nation. Touch our leaders, touch their hearts, touch their ears, touch their brains so that this nation can be greater and become nation that we want in Jesus name.”
The protesters have been on the streets for over a week, demanding an end to police brutality.
It will be recalled that the general overseer of RCCG,Pastor Enoch Adeboye, last week publicly endorsed the protest four days ago.
