Hahahahahaha, I laugh in Spanish, even your witch doctor cannot make me forget or scrap your future rent, you better stop wasting your time going to pray in the mountain, stop begging me or giving me excuses,all this dilly darling does not hold waters, I need my money, give me my money, it is my investment and infact my retirement benefit, GIVE ME MY RENT NOW OR ELSE I WILL EVICT YOU FROM MY PROPERTY.
In recent times, it is difficult to see an occupantant fulfilling his obligations in your house without having to remind or force them to do so. It reminds me of the MC GREGOR Theory X, which says human being will have to be forced, coerced or reminded before taken an action.
The following are the reasons why you have failed in paying your future rent as a tenant.
1. _Poor financial planning_ -Most tenant fail to factor in their rent from day 1 of their first rent, last minute approach has become the norm.
2. _Show off_ – Why would you rent a house you can’t manage? Why the show off to a friend that is ready to steal from the wealth you don’t have? MY TENANT, CUT YOUR CLOTH ACCORDING TO YOUR SIZE, YOU GAIN NOTHING BY IMPRESSING SOMEONE ELSE. HOW LONG WILL YOU BE A SLAVE TO YOUR LANDLORD?
3. _Poccessing what you don’t need_ – I can’t imagine a tenant having 3, 4 , 5 cars or changing cars every year in a rented apartment, this is nonsense and unnecessary. Invest your excess income in acquiring your own house, don’t you want to become a landlord one day? *DEAR TENANT, AT THIS TIME, GO FOR NECESSITY AND NOT LUXURY.*
4 . _Financial Indiscipline_ -No savings, the more their salary increases, the more they spend.I live in ogba today, I move to ikeja tomorrow and then to magodo. Put your expenses under control, mind what you eat, mind where you go, mind the cloth you put on, this are the reasons why you are unable to pay your future rent.
5. _Unforseen Circumstances_ – These could be as a result of job loss, perennial health challenges,loss of the bread winner of the home e.t.c. however there are solutions because your Landlord is not ready for any stories, don’t think they are heartless or inhumane, this is their investment and they depend on this for the upkeep of their families, they have bills to pay too. You could add other side hustle and take up a life insurance policy to withstand this shock.
