Good news came the way of 20 professors of the Lagos state University (LASU) as the institutions governing council has approved their promotion and that of others.
The decision for this academic lift for the lucky men and women was made at LASUs 123rd Statutory/Inaugural meeting of the 11th Governing Council .
In addition ,the council also considered and approved the promotion of 75 Academic Staff, consisting among others.
This was contained in a statement made available by the information department of the institution on Thursday.
Others scheduled for promotion include 24 Associate Professors and 30 others as well as 52 Non-Academic Staff consisting of Five [5] Deputy Registrars, One Deputy Bursar and 46 others.
The Council also approved the appointment of Fifty-One [51] existing members of Staff to higher positions based on their acquisition of a higher qualifications.
